UK Dredging have a vacancy for a 3rd Engineer on their new vessel UKD Orca, 3,080 GT, 3,600 kW (provisional). This person must be a versatile, competent, all-round engineer with suitable STCW '95 qualifications. The main duties for this position are:

1. Promote, support and carry out all duties in accordance with the Companies’ documented Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems and Codes of Conduct.

2. Work under direction of, report directly to and support the Chief Engineer.

3. Duties will include but are not limited to:

Ø Support the Chief Engineer in the safe, effective, efficient and mechanical management of all aspects of the Vessels machinery.

Ø Maintenance and repair of the Vessels Deck and Engine room main and ancillary machinery.

Ø Watch keeping duties.

Ø Engine room cleaning.

Ø Assist in bunkering of vessels .

Ø Updating of spares used.

Ø Assist with maintenance periods and dry docking of vessel.

Work Pattern:

Nominal 12 hours per day as duties dictate.

14 days on duty, 14 days off duty.
