UK DREDGING LAUNCHES ITS OWN WEBSITE
UK Dredging (UKD), one of the UK’s leading maintenance dredging organisations, has launched its own website, www.ukdredging.co.uk.
The new site provides comprehensive information on UKD, and also features a ‘vessel locator’, showing the location of UKD’s dredgers around the UK or in Europe.
Commenting on the launch of www.ukdredging.co.uk, Gareth Pollit, General Manager, UKD, said:
“The site has been developed to provide up-to-date information on our fleet. Our unique ‘vessel locator’ should prove useful to our customers. Modern technology should be applied ashore, as well on our dredgers, and this website is intended to become one of the mainstays of our marketing strategy.’’
The new site is managed by Community Network Services (CNS), which has provided applications over both public and private telecommunications networks to the freight transport industry for over 15 years. CNS has an advanced network control centre at its offices in Fareham, Hampshire, comprising a multi-server environment with in-built alternative routings combined with the necessary resilience.
UK Dredging – a division of Associated British Ports – operates a fleet of dredgers, support craft and hydrographic services.
