UKD can provide:
- A highly experienced and motivated team
- The resources to invest in quality technology to match customers' requirements
- An efficient structure geared to provide cost-effective solutions to dredging problems
- A mobile survey department equipped with modern data communications technology
- In-house environmental modelling and research through ABP Marine Environmental Research.
UKD has the equipment and the expertise to undertake a wide range of dredging tasks in the port environment. Its crews are accustomed to working alongside the marine management team at a port. In-dock maintenance uses plough vessels, grab dredgers or trailer suction dredgers with pipes which have been specially designed to gain access to awkward corners and lock entrances.
UKD's larger vessels are capable of dredging a range of sedimentary deposits for the maintenance of channels or in appropriate circumstances, dredging for capital schemes.
